“Andre Onana transfer saga: Man Utd edges towards breakthrough with Inter Milan”

Published on

According to Sky Sports News, Manchester United is getting closer to reaching an agreement with Inter Milan for goalkeeper Andre Onana. Talks between the two clubs have been progressing well, with discussions about a compromise on the transfer fee being positive. Initially, Man Utd’s bid of £38.5m (€45m) was rejected, as Inter valued Onana at £51m (€60m). However, both sides are now working towards finding a middle ground.

Personal terms are expected to be easily settled, and there remains a strong willingness from all parties involved to finalize the transfer. Sources close to Onana believe that everyone wants a resolution before the player is due to join Inter’s pre-season training on July 13th.

Onana has expressed his desire to join Manchester United and reunite with his former Ajax manager, Erik ten Hag, who is leading the effort to bring the 27-year-old goalkeeper to Old Trafford.
