Bafoussam Set to Host 2025 Volleyball Cup Qualifiers

Bafoussam will welcome volleyball teams from across Cameroon next month as the city prepares to host the 2025 Cameroon Volleyball Cup Qualifiers. The Cameroon Volleyball Federation announced the event will occur from March 21 to 23, 2025.

This marks the second time in two years that the West region has been chosen for a major volleyball tournament. The Region previously hosted the launch of the 2023 season in Dschang (December 7-10, 2023). Encouraged by the success of that event, the President of the West Regional Volleyball League, Dr. Marc Bertrand Dandji Saah, and his team are already working to ensure this competition is just as successful.

For three days, men’s and women’s teams will compete for the prestigious trophy, showcasing their skills and talents at venues that will be announced later. The Western Regional League, which will host about a hundred athletes and staff, promises to go all out to make these Qualifiers a true volleyball celebration.

According to the official press release:

The Cameroon Volleyball Federation (FECAVOLLEY) informs the public and volleyball fans that the Cameroon Cup qualifiers will take place in Bafoussam from Friday, March 21 to Sunday, March 23, 2025.

Teams not participating in the Elite Championship League 1 and 2 who wish to join these qualifiers must complete their registration by Monday, March 10, 2025.
