Cameroon Volleyball Championship: Three matches, two surprises and one very good day for Mayo Kani Evolution

Cameroon’s senior women’s volleyball championship resumed its advanced fixtures on Saturday, 21st March 2026, delivering mixed feelings for the teams present.
Mayo Kani Évolution were the standout performers of the day, dismantling Fatgo’o Volleyball in straight three dominant sets — all comfortably won — telling the story of a side operating at a different level to their opponents, who only briefly disrupted the rhythm late in the contest.
The day’s most gripping encounter, however, belonged to Nyong et Kellé Volleyball and Forces Armées et Police, who served up a captivating five-set battle. Yet NKV could barely catch their breath before facing Fatgo’o again — and this time, the result was reversed. Perhaps the exertions of the first match took their toll. Fatgo’o, beaten so convincingly by MKE, looked a transformed side and claimed a 3-1 victory.
Mayo Kani Évolution stood strong, while the battles for the lower positions in the standings remain very much open.
