Cameroon Set to Host Six-Nation Showdown as 2025 Women’s U20 African Volleyball Championship Fixtures Revealed

The complete fixture list for the 2025 Women’s U20 African Nations Volleyball Championship have now been confirmed following this week’s technical meeting.

The Six Nations Championship will kick off in Yaoundé from Monday, 4th August, with hosts Cameroon facing a stern test against continental heavyweights Egypt, who arrive as tournament favourites alongside Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, and Burundi.

The championship will follow an intensive schedule at the Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex, with three matches held daily at 2 pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm local time, respectively.

This championship format ensures a 5 days non-stop action across a group stage competition, before the top four sides advance to the knockout rounds. The round-robin format means every match carries significant weight in determining the final four.

Kenya, another side with genuine medal aspirations, will have the honour of kicking off the tournament as they begin their campaign against Senegal in Monday’s tournament opener at 2 pm, setting the tone for what’s expected to be a fiercely contested championship.

The U20 Indomitable Lionesses kick off their campaign at a 6pm clash against Burundi, before facing arguably their toughest tests against Kenya and Egypt later in the tournament.
