Elite 1 Full Day 3, Partial Day 4 Results: Bamboutos’ Invincibles Intact, PWD Suffers Another Defeat.
Nine matches counting for Day three and partial day 4 of the ongoing MTN Elite one football championship have concluded in stadia across the national territory with the following results recorded.

At the Mbouda Municipal Stadium, Bamboutos of Mbouda continue their 100% start to the season with another 1-0 win over regional rivals Fovu of Baham. Junior Kemajou scored the lone goal of the game as the Mangwa boys stay top of Group B with nine points. Junior Kemajou has now scored three goals in three league games.
The Mangwa boys have now won five out of their last six games in the league and this is their first win over Fovu in close to three years.
At the Bamendzi Stadium, PWD of Bamenda suffered another defeat – this time to UMS of Loum. Victor Mengue’s late stoppage time goal ensured first win for coach Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso since he took charge of the 2019 champions. The defeat for PWD means they are now winless against UMS in three home games (three defeats) and this is their worst start to the season since their title-winning campaign.
Meanwhile, Stade Renard of Melong defeated Avion Academy 1-0 at the Annex 1 of Japoma Sports Complex. Fabrice Raymond Fotso scored the lone goal of the game.
