The 52-year-old expressed delight after taking over from the former Yafoot coach.

“i’m very delighted to join this fantastic club and I look forward to working with exciting group of players and develop a team and culture our fans will be proud of”, Coach Paul said.

The gaffer, who is a holder of a UEFA B license in coaching takes over the club with just seven days to the kickoff of the Brand New Elite two championship.

It should be noted that this is the fifth coach of Victoria United in the space of seven months and the second foreigner to take change of the club this year after the Bulgarian, Dimitar Pantev.

Dimatar Pantev led the club to Elite two qualification after close to 18 years of absence and Paulo Sousa will have the huge task to qualify the club for elite one next season.

The 2022/23 elite two-season kicks off next weekend with Victoria United to take on Aigle De Mungo in their first game.
