Published on

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have dropped five places in the FIFA Coca-Cola rankings for September released today Thursday, September 6, 2022, by FIFA.

Coach Rigobert Song and his boys had a disappointing outing during the September International break – as they lost two pre-world cup friendly games to Uzbekistan and South Korea.

The two defeats affected their position in the latest FIFA rankings as they moved from 38th in the world to 43rd and from Fifth in Africa to seventh.

It should be noted that only Norway dropped more places in the latest FIFA rankings than Cameroon with six places dropped.

Ghana will be the lowest-ranked team going into the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar next month.

Meanwhile, Senegal remains the number-one-ranked team in the continent and 18th in the World, while Brazil top the log in the rankings.
