Mboafoot Awards: Ikose Njuma Nominated For Best Young Player Of The Year.
Victoria United forward Conrad Ikose Njuma has been nominated for the best young player of the year organize by online platform, Mboafoot.
The award ceremony is scheduled for July 7 and will see 30 distinctions in 10 categories given out to meritorious players and coaches of the MTN Elite one and two championships as well as the Guinness Super League.
The young lad joined Victoria United last summer from South West Regional league side, Catholic University Sports Academy as the top scorer in the 2021/22 South West Regional Championship with 15 goals.
His performance at the Regional Championship saw him pre-selected in the under-17 Lions squad ahead of the UNIFFAC tournament in January. Although being hit by an injury midway through the season, the former CUSA forward scored four goals in all competitions for Victoria United this season including three goals in the Cup of Cameroon.
