Morocco Eliminates Portugal To Set Up Another African Record At The World Cup.

Morocco has beaten Portugal 1-0 to become the first African nation to reach the semi-final.

 

Striker Youssef En-Nesyri scored only his third world cup goal – which became the winning goal of the game – leaping highest to beat goalkeeper Diogo Costa to score the goal that created history for the African continent.

The All Thumama Stadium was dominated by the North African supporters as they celebrated a landmark victory for African football on the global stage.

Morocco will now face either France or England in the Semis on Wednesday.
