National FC and Olympique De Meinganga have produced the first draw of the 2022 National Interpools, following a 2-2 draw at the Limbe Middle Farms stadium.

The representative from the Adamawa region was at the front foot in the first 35 minutes of the game, after Oumarou Herman scored  brace to put his side two goals up.

National FC who succeeded Gazelle FA as the North Regional representative, made use of a free kick as Fedric Dawai’s cross found the head of Barka Amrakai to go within one at halftime.

After the interval, National FC got into the second half with a more offensive approach to the game, as captain of the Garoua base side created a crucial chance to fine Stanisla Madi who scored the equalizer for National FC.

National FC continue to mount pressure to get the winner, but their opponents from the Adamawa Region proved tough and determined to take something from the game.

It all ended 2-2 after 90 minutes.

It should be noted that a total of 14 goals have been scored in this year’s national interpools in three games so far, and two wins have been recorded.
