SC Rheindorf Altach Sign Djawal Kaiba From Coton Sport.
Cameroon International Djawal Kaiba has agreed on a three-year deal with Austrian top-tier side Rheindorf Altach with an optional year extension for a reported fee of $200,000.
The deal will see the player join his new club in June after an agreement between Coton Sport and Altach was reached – Sportsglitz.com reported.
According to the agreement between the two clubs, the 19-year-old will be allowed to represent the 17-time champions in the Group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The Cameroon Under 23 International has been a joy to watch in the last two seasons for both club and country.
Last season, the 19-year-old was one of the key pillars of the current Cameroon champions scoring eight goals and nine assists to help Coton win a record 17th league title – defeating Eding Sports in the playoff final.
The player also represented his country at the U23s, U20s and the Indomitable lions – scoring three goals for these three categories.
Kaiba also represented his country in the ongoing African Nations Championship in Algeria – playing two games against Congo and Niger – despite their disappointing exit at the competition.
Altach are currently on 10th position in the Austrian Football Bundesliga with 15 points in 16 games.
