Yaounde Chosen To Host 2023 National Interpools.

The 2023 National Interpools will take place in the Country’s political capital Yaounde, as confirmed by the Football Federation on Tuesday.

According to the communique signed by the Secretary General of Fecafoot, this year’s national playoffs will take place in Yaounde from the 15th to the 30th of July 2023.

The National Interpools is the playoffs of Cameroon’s third-tier championship played every year for promotion to the second-tier championship.

Last year, the tournament was held in Limbe – with the Centenary Stadium, the Middle Farms Stadium and Omnisports Stadium in Limbe hosting matches of the competition.

Victoria United and Aigle du Mungo were the two clubs that picked qualification for the MTN Elite Two Championship.

It should be noted that Yaounde last hosted the competition in 2018 – with Ofta of Kribi, Leopard and AS FAP securing qualification for the MTN Elite Two championship.

The draws for the tournament will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in Yaoude.
