Continental Football Academy of Buea is going through its worst historic low in over two and a half years as they record another heavy defeat – this time to Aljazeera Football Academy.
Aljazeera recorded their biggest win over Continental Football Academy – in a smoked sandwich of a football match which ended 5-0 to Aljazeera at the Molyko Stadium in Buea.
It took 14 minutes for the newly promoted side to open score through Obi Essumba – benefiting from a Meh Derrick assist.
Things became worst for the Gra Ga boys as they were reduced to 10 men – as Enow Essa received his matching orders after preventing Essumba from scoring his second.
Being one man down, the boys of Coach Enow George became more vulnerable at the back – as each time Aljazeera exhale going offensive – the Gra Gra breathe in as Essumba netted his second of the day to double Aljazeera ‘s lead at the 26th minute.
Then 10 minutes to halftime, Herbert Ache scored Aljazeera’s third goal to give coach Forsah Eric’s side a comfortable 3-0 lead at halftime.
Continental ‘s quest to reduce deficit in the second half was illusive – as each time the Aljazeera attack sneezes – the Continental backline catches cold. Aljazeera will utilise just two minutes into the second half to score their fourth of the day through Obase Victor’s brilliant header from a Martinez Kotto set piece.
Then the Bright Mondoa put the icing on the cake to give Aljazeera a deserved 5-0 win over a Shambolic Continental FA side.
Continental FA have now fail to win a single game in their last four league games – winning just two points and concerning 14 goals in the process. While Aljazeera are on seven points in their last three encounters as they summit pool A with 23 points.
Next stop for Continental FA is against Tiko United – while Aljazeera faces Best Stars in a top of the table clash.
