Elite One: PWD Bamenda End Marriage With Nkabyo Martin.

The Management of PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda have parted ways with head coach Nkabyo Martins just after the club suffered a second straight defeat in the league on Saturday.

This was announced by the club president who stated on his Twitter Page – ending coach Nkabyo’s stay at the club

After going through a careful thought process we have decided to end our working relationship with the head coach Nkabyo Martin. Coach thank you for the services rendered to our club,’ president Abunde ended.

Coach Nkabyo Martins took charge of PWD in the summer – replacing David Pagou who joined Aigle de Menoua in the off-season.

Ever since he took charge, PWD Bamenda has gone four games without a win (three defeats and one draw at home to Elgeco Plus of Madagascar in the Caf Confed Cup) and the Abakwa boys are yet to score a goal in three games in all competitions.

The former Tiko United Gaffer resigned as head coach of Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda late last season following the same poor run of form.

The Club is yet to issue a statement on Nkabyo’s successor – as the club has three key fixtures in the league: Stade Renard, Avion Academy and Djiko FC before the World Cup break.
