Mayo Kani and Litto Team (W) Dominate Opening Day of National Volleyball Playoffs

The first day of the National Volleyball Championship 2024/2025 playoffs delivered exciting action at Japoma Stadium in Douala on Saturday, May 24th, 2025.

Strong Performances Set the Tone

Mayo Kani kicked off the women’s competition with a solid 3-1 victory over Nyong et Kelle. The match saw Mayo Kani control most sets, winning 25-19, 25-9, and 25-14, with Nyong et Kelle managing to take only the third set 25-19.

Litto Team showed their strength in a clean sweep against Forces Armees et Police, winning all three sets 25-18, 25-12, and 25-13. Their dominant display put them in a strong position early in the tournament.

The day continued with Litto Team facing Nyong et Kelle in another exciting match. Litto Team secured another 3-1 victory with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, and 25-19, proving their consistency on the court.

Mayo Kani closed out Saturday’s action with a commanding 3-0 win over Forces Armees et Police. They won all sets comfortably with scores of 25-22, 25-13, and 25-16.

The playoffs continue today, Sunday May 25th, with two key matches:
