SK Beveren Sign Jerome Ngom From Colombe.

Cameroon International Jerome Ngom Mbekeli has signed an 18-month deal with Belgian second-tier side SK Beveren – with an option of extension.

The club announced on their Social Media Account – the arrival of the 24-year-old on Tuesday.

Jerome Ngom was the star man for Cameroon in the African Nations Championship as he scored the lone goal in Cameroon’s 1-0 win over Congo – which earned him the man of the match award.

His landmark in the international scene was at the world cup – where he provided the assist to Vincent Aboubakar which saw Cameroon creating a fairytale narrative to become the first nation to defeat Brazil at the Word Cup.

The winger spent close to two seasons with Cameroon top-flight side Colombe of Dja and Lobo – providing close to 14 assists last season for the club – scoring four goals.

His new club occupy the second position in the Belgian second-tier championship and the forward could make his debut for the club away to Jong Genk.

This is Mbekeli’s third club abroad after spells at San Diego Loyal, MSK Vyskov and Swoop Park.
