Match day 10 of the ongoing South West Regional Championship have been played with 15 matches played – recording 14 wins and one draw – with Catholic University SA becoming the first team to get mini inter pool status.
Pool A
Aljazeera recorded their biggest win over Continental FA – scoring five without reply, while Best Stars dismantle Little Foot 8-2 as both sides hold top two spots in Pool A. But Samba boys looked a dark horse as they hold third following a 7-0 win over TERMSTA.
At the bottom of the Pool, TERMSTA looks the most ridiculous – but could bring in Little Foot at one point with four games to go.
Pool B
ISOSHA maintain top spot with a 5-1 demolition of Treviso, while Victoria United regain second spot as they hit LIFCA 2-1 to put themselves within one off ISOSHA at the top of the pile.
At the relegation zone, EEMSA looked minimal confident as they held new boys Istanbul FA in a 2-2 draw to increase their tally to five points – and three shy off Mount Cameroon who lost 2-4 to revived Buea United.
Pool C
Catholic University is in dreamland now as they become the first team to enter this year’s playoffs with a sublime win over Cinyodev FA, while Options maintain the second spot with a smoked salmon sandwich performance against South West United.
In the relegation zone, the University of Buea FC looks the side to go down after suffering defeat to immediate challenger FUSSA. They have recorded just three points in 10 matches – one of the worst in the division.
Pool D
Kumba City FC surrenders first spot as they were pinned down by Legend FC in a virgin draw. Nkamanyi FI now takes the staff of office in the pool following a 1-0 win over Future Dreams.
No team will be relegated in this pool because Bau Manibok has been declared by forfeiture.
