The Cameroon Volleyball Federation’s playoffs kicked off in grand style at the Japoma Stadium in Douala, with some intense and closely contested matches on the opening day. The action-packed event saw the top teams in the men category go head-to-head, putting on a spectacular display of skill and determination.
In the first match, Litto Team emerged victorious against Forces Armées et Police, clinching the game 3-1 (25-20, 25-22, 28-30, 27-25) in a fiercely competitive encounter. The players from Litto Team showcased their prowess, outmanoeuvring their opponents in the first two sets before the Forces Armées et Police (FAP) fought back to take the third set. However, Litto Team regained their composure and sealed the win in the fourth set.
The second match saw Port Autonome de Douala (PAD) dominate Cameroun Sports, winning 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-21). The Port Autonome de Douala team exhibited exceptional teamwork and coordination, outclassing their opponents in all three sets to secure a convincing victory.
In the third match, Litto Team faced off against Cameroun Sports, with Litto Team emerging victorious once again, this time with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-20, 19-25, 25-14) scoreline. The players from Litto Team demonstrated their versatility and adaptability, adjusting their strategies to overcome the challenge posed by Cameroun Sports.
The final match of the day saw Port Autonome de Douala take on Forces Armées et Police in a one-sided affair, with Port Autonome de Douala winning 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-15). The Port Autonome de Douala team showcased their dominance, outclassing their opponents in all three sets to secure a comfortable victory.
The stage is now set for the exciting continuation of the playoffs on Sunday, May 25th, when Forces Armées et Police will take on Cameroun Sports, and the most awaited clash between Port Autonome de Douala and Litto Team.
