SWRL: Coach Enow George’s Tactics Paid Off Against Best Stars.

Despite a poor start to the new campaign, Coach Enow George still believed in his tactics as it paid off against Best Stars Academy of Limbe on Thursday.

Continental Football Academy defeated last season’s finalist Best Stars Academy 2-0 in their third league game of the season. A brace from Jefter Arrey ensured all three points for the Gra Gra boys.

Coach Enow George has been the man behind the victory for the Buea Base side on Thursday after coming back for a second spell at the club. Known as “coach tactics”, his tactics paid off as he recorded his side’s first win of the season.

Talking about his tactics, coach Enow George says he used the 4-5-1 formation to beat Best Stars on Thursday.

“I use 4-5-1 as my principal formation..
I love playing tactical football and play free-flow passing football. I love using very young players.. who can move easily.” Coach Enow said

“My tactics is that I studied my opponent {Best Stars} very well before the game and play mostly on their weaknesses.
The Style of play was that we started building from the back with short passes and long balls depending on how the opponent approached the game”, he added

Ask about his ambition and objectives this season after that impressive performance against Best Stars, he says “For this season, I want to reach the 16th finales of the cup of Cameroon and for the league, I want to qualify for the mini interpools.

Coach Enow aka ” coach Tactics” is one of the youngest coaches in the South West Regional Championship and also a football promoter, consultant and a teacher. He is the President of Dream Stars Academy as he scouted players like Mbeng Joel and Kingsley who are making waves in the Region’s top-tier championship.

So far, Continental FA has one win and two defeats this season and will hope to get a second successive win in the league since the 2020/21 season.

The next stop for Coach Enow and his charges is against Dream Soccer stars Academy tomorrow Sunday, April 2nd at the Molyko Omnisports Stadium at 2 pm.
