The Homologation and Disciplinary Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation has imposed disciplinary sanctions on AS Lausanne for misconduct.

This comes after the fans, club officials and players of Lausanne couldn’t hold their emotions as they molested the match officials (Moctar Oumar and Chenwi Celestine), after their 1-2 defeat to Rangers FC in a matchday 25 clash of the MTN Elite two football championship.

This caused the Homologation and Disciplinary Committee to sanction Lausanne and its officials for misconduct.

Head coach Samuel Cyprien was banned for five years, alongside two of his players for two years and the club banned for all its compositions next season.

The decision also puts Lausanne’s chances of Elite One football in limbo, as Dynamo of Douala to join Victoria United in the top flight championship.
