Cameroon had an impressive performance at this year’s World Cup in Qatar despite their early exit from the competition.

Cameroon harvested her first points at the FIFA World Cup since 2002 as they recorded a draw and a win to finish third in their group.

Their greatest win was a 1-0 win over Brazil as it was the first win by an African nation against the five-time World champions.

Meanwhile, Morocco overtakes Senegal at the top of the rankings after they qualified for the quarter-finals of the World Cup. The Atlas Lions now occupy the first position in Africa and the 11th in the World.

The 1976 African champions eliminated Portugal in the quarter-finals to become the first African nation to reach the semifinals of the World Cup.

Senegal on their part,  occupy the second position in Africa – followed by Tunisia in the third position.
