Cameroon Elite One date set and 25 Teams on the starting block

The Cameroon football federation has released an official programme for all her competitions for the 2021/2022 season. The long awaited Elite one and Two football is slated to kick off from the 12th March 2022. The Guinness Super League which is the top tier women championship begins on the 26th of March 2022 while the second tier women leagues will kickoff on April 9th.

The 2021-2022 season will be played in Cameroon with 25 clubs; a great first. The 5 clubs relegated last season were maintained against all odds by the new executive of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fécafoot) elected on December 11, 2021 with Samuel Eto’o Fils as president.

The clubs will be sub divided into 2 pouls of 12 and 13 clubs respectively and the winners of each poul will play a playoff to determine the champion of the season
