After initiating the New Down Preseason Tournament, Sponsors of the league, plus the an elite two team in their first season since taking over at the helm of Football in the region, the New Dawn once again surprised stakeholders with a logo for the league.
This was unveiled at the South West Regional League General Assembly held at the South West fecafoot secretariate in Buea on Friday, March 3.
Initially, three different logos were unveiled during the Assembly but the President of the Regional Bureau wanted the Assembly to make their choice and a majority of the Members choose the first proposed logo.

According to the President of the league, Ndazeh Valerie – the logo will appear in different communique and press releases of the Regional league Bureau.
Meanwhile, the President thanked Stakeholders for a successful organisation of the championship last season – as the Bureau produced an Elite team for the region for the first time in six years.
Me Ndazeh Valerie also called on stakeholders to be united as the Bureau aims for another elite club at the end of the 2022/23 season.
It should be noted that Victoria United were crown champions of the region last season and secured an elite two ticket for the region in six years.
This season’s championship will be contested by 29 clubs drawn in four Pools – with the top two qualifying for the Mini Interpools, while the bottom teams of Each Pool will be relegated to their various divisional leagues.
