The head coach of Cameroon’s intermediate lions has pre-selected 30 Home-base lions ahead of the upcoming African Nations Championship next month in Algeria.
The list consists of four goalkeepers, nine defenders, 10 midfielders and seven attackers plus seven reserves – with the final list will be trimmed to 26.
Coton Sport’s Marou Souiabou and Colombe’s Ngom Mbeleki who were part of Cameroon’s 2022 World Cup squad made the list – alongside experienced PWD defender Etta Bawack who has played in two CHAN tournaments (2016 &2018) is also part of the list.
While Djawal Kaiba and Patience Wassu who is currently with the U20 lions at the UNIFFAC tournament also made the list alongside Canon’s Moukoko Yves and Che Malong.
It should be noted that 25 players of this list played in the World Cup farewell match in October.

Cameroon is in Group E of the seventh edition of the CHAN alongside Congo and Niger.
The tournament will run from January 13 to February 4th, 2023 in Algeria.
