- Gabriel Haman is currently starring at an uncertain future as Coton Sport Boss.
- The Cameroonian has endured a frustrating run of form that has seen the club record six straight defeats.
- Coton Sport will be desperate to get their campaign back on track next week when they take on Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League.
Gabriel Haman has been given a three-game ultimatum to save his job as coach of Coton Sport.
This was in a crisis meeting – chaired by Coton Sport President Fernand Sadou – held at the club’s headquarters in Garoua on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by players, staff, and club officials as they all aired their worries. Recommendations were made after the meeting as the club looks forward to bounce back to winning ways after suffering six straight defeats in all competitions in 31 days.
Gabriel Haman’s three-games ultimatum is one of the outcomes of the meeting as the club is witnessing its worst run of form since February to April last year.
The first of the three games ultimatum for Gabriel Haman is against Al Ahly of Egypt in the CAF champions league next week as the club hopes to get a first win over the Egyptian giants in eight meetings.
It should be noted that the club’s hierarchy has also promised to increase the player’s bonuses to 400,000 FCFA as motivation for the game against the 10-time African Champions.
After the game against Al Ahly, the Cotonites will then return to domestic duties with two of the three crucial games being against Djiko FC and Canon of Yaounde.
The stakes are high for Gabriel Haman as Coton Sport has recorded just five wins in 13 games in the league this season.
