Litto Team Dominates Individual Honours at CAVB Zone 4 Club Championships

The 11th edition of the CAVB Zone 4 Club Championships has concluded with Litto Team claiming the bulk of individual awards across both men’s and women’s competitions, securing seven distinctions in total.

In the women’s category, Tchombe of Litto Team was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, capping off an impressive campaign for her side. The men’s MVP accolade went to Adji Mahamat of PAD, who stood out among a competitive field.

Litto Team’s dominance was particularly evident in the men’s competition, where they swept several key positions. Dambe Basile earned recognition as the tournament’s top libero, whilst Kombou Collins was selected as the leading blocker. Mbahilamen completed the trio by claiming the best attacker award.

In the women’s draw, Nyong-Kelle proved strong contenders, with Zabo named best libero and Elise Sheila taking the setter honour. Zambo added a second award for the side as the tournament’s second-best blocker. La loi’s Kanyinda was recognised as the top blocker in the women’s category.

The remaining men’s awards saw D’Angoulême Lamine of PAD named best setter, while Mulegwa David of Service National was chosen as the outstanding defender. Espoir claimed two runners-up positions through Kitoko Kambele Didier as second libero and Belemene Dav as second blocker.
