Eding sport de la Lekie are set to hire the services of former Colombe and Bamboutus of Mbouda manager Anicet Mbarga Foe to replace former indomitable lion Djonkep Bonaventure for the next two football seasons.
It has been revealed from our sources that Anicet Mbarga Foe will put pen to paper on a two year deal from 2023 to 2025. This will be his second spell with Eding sport after he led the team to the league title in the 2016- 2917 football season.
The return of Anicet Mbarga Foe will coincide with the club making remarkable strides in which the official launching of works at their training facility and complex are scheduled to kick of at the end of the month of may 2023. This will provide the new coach with an ultra modern training facility to help the coach carry out his duties in a very professional manner.
It should be noted that Eding sport de la Lekie finished last seasons championship as vice champions of the 2021/2022 MTN Elite 1 football championship loosing to Cotonsport of Garoua after post match penalties in Garoua.
Despite that impressive outing. Eding sport did not replicate that performance this 2022/2023 football season and narrowly missed out from relegation.
Sealed deal
The president and CEO of the club Saint Fabian Mvogo has then decided to carry out the managerial change and move on with a more familiar face in the person of Anicet Mbarga Foe who he believes will bring back the glory days of Eding Sport de la lekie.
