Sangmelima Makes Volleyball History: National Championship Heads South for First Time

In an exciting development for Cameroonian volleyball, Sangmelima is set to make history by hosting the National League 1 and League 2 Volleyball Championships for both men’s and women’s divisions. This marks the first time the Dja and Lobo division and the South Region will welcome the prestigious tournament.

The fourth round of matches will take place from February 1-2, with games split between the Technical High School gymnasium and the Professional Training Centre’s stadium.

FECAVOLLEY President Bello Bourdanne, working closely with local authorities, has overseen renovations of both venues to ensure they meet championship standards.

The welcoming city is preparing to host over 600 athletes and staff members for what promises to be an unforgettable volleyball celebration.

The local organizing committee has emphasized Sangmelima’s renowned hospitality, ensuring all participants will experience the warmth and friendliness the city is famous for.
