The Cameroon delegation that participated in the U21 Beach Volleyball Championship in Martil, Morocco, arrived back in the country on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The players were warmly welcomed at the headquarters of the Cameroon Volleyball Federation (FECAVOLLEY), located in the Dragage neighbourhood of Yaoundé.
Deris MEH, the head of the delegation and deputy secretary general representing the Fecavolley president, took the opportunity to commend the athletes for their commendable performance in the tournament. He encouraged them to continue working hard, expressing confidence that the efforts made by the federation to develop and modernise beach volleyball in Cameroon will soon bear fruit.

As the team awaits the official results to determine whether the women’s pairs will join their male counterparts at the World Championships, all eyes are now turned towards the upcoming events. Notably, the first training camp for beach volleyball is set to take place in Yaoundé from July 18 to 22 at the Municipal Lake.
With the excitement of the recent championship still fresh, the future looks promising for Cameroon’s beach volleyball scene as it strives for greater achievements on the international stage.
