Cameroon Beach Volleyball: Time to Take Action

The Cameroonian Beach Volleyball Coordination (COCABEACH) is gearing up for an exciting season ahead in 2024/2025. With Dr. Rodrigue Deuboué recently appointed as the National Coordinator, his team is diving headfirst into their plans, spurred on by the support of the Cameroonian Volleyball Federation (FECAVOLLEY).

New facilities are currently under construction at the Yaoundé Municipal Lake, where two beach volleyball courts are already in place. Over the coming months, two additional courts will be completed, promising to enhance the playing experience for local athletes.

But it’s not just about infrastructure; COCABEACH is committed to elevating the game itself. As Cameroon returns from the U21 African Championship in Morocco, the coordination has already announced a series of upcoming national events. The first beach volleyball tournament at the Municipal Lake is scheduled to take place from July 18 to 22, 2025.

Following this, a training session for coaches will be conducted by a FIVB expert from August 18 to 22, also in Yaoundé. Beach volleyball enthusiasts will gather again for a second event in the capital, set for August 22 to 24, 2025.

Just as in 2024, the charming coastal town of Kribi will host the national finals, set for December 26 to 28, 2025. COCABEACH aims to make these finals a particularly memorable occasion in order to leave an indelible mark on the sporting calendar.

Get ready for an exhilarating season ahead!
