Cameroon’s Volleyball Lionesses Ready to conquer the continent at the U18 Women’s African Nations Championship in Alexandria

Cameroon has confirmed the fourteen young women who will carry the country’s hopes into the U18 Women’s African Nations Championship in Alexandria, Egypt, running from 20 to 30 July. The federation released the squad list this week.

National coach Nsounfon Donald Fabien has put together a group that blends fresh faces in one conquering squad. He will be assisted on the bench by Djoumekoum T. Edith Christine, who serves as national assistant coach for this campaign.

The squad reads as follows.

Nyanyongo Giovana Kimora, Matoukam Tontong Brunelle, Ndoni Dimalet Thérèse, Ngalle Samou Marianie Danielle, Eloundou Anaba Princesse, Ewodo Grâce Liversa, Mengue Mebenga Justine Emilia L, Mang Siliki Marthe, Nkou Tobo Chrismaël, Nagbwengue Dj. Camille Charlotte E. , Djivida Moulla Sandrine, Assala Ogogo Elisabeth Maëlle, Kinyo Ambang Océanne, Ngeh Masa Fabrice Nolwenn.

Alexandria will host several nations across the tournament, and Cameroon’s group will need to hit the ground running given how quickly these age category competitions move. Ten days is not a lot of time to find rhythm, but it is enough for a well-prepared team to make a real impression, and Fecavolley will be hoping this crop of players does exactly that.
